Shen calmer is a TCM blend used for pets with anxiety and nervousness

The Traditional Chinese Medicine indications for Shen Calmer are anxiety, disorder of Shen (Spirit), Heart Yin/Blood deficiency, restlessness, insomnia, nervousness, a pulse that is thin and fast, and a tongue that is red and dry.

According to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, stress often causes Liver Qi stagnation.

After a period of time, Liver Qi stagnation will transform into fire which consumes the Heart Yin and disturb Shen (spirit and mental activities).

When Shen is disturbed, anxiety ensues along with nervousness, stressfulness, lack of focus, poor performance, and madness.

The key to treating a Shen disturbance is to nourish Heart Yin and cool fire.

Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophy is different from standard Western medical philosophy, focuses on balance and finding the cause of the problem rather than simply masking symptoms with prescription medicines.

Through Eastern examination techniques, we can choose herbal blends that will both treat symptoms and at the same time correct the imbalances in your pet’s body that are causing the symptoms.

Shen Calmer is a blend specially formulated with herbs specifically chosen to work synergistically to relieve the symptoms of anxiety, nervousness, restlessness and insomnia while at the same time addressing the underlying causes of these symptoms.

It’s Chinese Principles of treatment are to nourish the Heart Yin and Blood, calm down the Shen, and soothe Liver Qi.
